Happy St Patrick’s Day to all Fireballers worldwide! Did you know that shamrock, worn traditionally here on the day, is also symbol of luck. So – with that in mind can we remind you that those who enter the 2022 Worlds in Lough Derg and pay in full before March 31st will be entered in a draw at the event to have their entire entry fee returned! For those who have already registered for the event by paying a deposit, arrangements are being put in place via the LDYC website to allow you to pay the balance in the coming days. And can we ask that those who booked the campsite but not yet the event follow up by booking the event too! Already we have 41 registered for the Worlds and a few extras on the campsite only. We are confident now that numbers will be well in excess of 50 boats. At a time of terrible turmoil in the world we all need something to look forward to – this is going to be a great event in a beautiful peaceful location. Why not enter this St Patrick’s Day – it could be your lucky day!
